C Wel Optometry is an independent optometry practice situated Glen Waverley. Formerly known as Dr Yen Lee Yap, we have been operating for over 30 years. Situated 500m from the Glen, the practice is in a convenient location but far away from the bustle of shopping centres and conventional shops. We offer a relaxed environment and longer appointment times to provide thorough optometric and optical services as patient care is our primary goal.
Welson graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2012 and is therapeutically endorsed. He has worked in rural Tasmania and Victoria for many years before returning to work in Glen Waverley with Dr Yen Lee Yap Optometry.
Amongst providing accurate and thorough eye tests, Welson has interests in paediatric optometry and hard contact lens fitting. He specialises in myopia management, including low dose atropine as well as Orthokeratology (Ortho K). Welson grew up locally and attended Glen Waverley Secondary College before going to Melbourne High School.
Besides English, Welson can conduct consultations in conversational Mandarin.
